Written
and directed by Dennis Giacino and Fiely Matias, "The Naked Guy" is
about three gay roommates (played by Fiely Matias, Dennis Giacino,
and Lance Fitzgerald) who write a prize-winning play about a beefy
gay male escort. However, in order to collect the cash prize, they
must produce him. Be aware - at the end of the show someone (Jaime
Velez, who plays Josh, the male escort) gets naked here!
Using a very simple set,
"The Naked Guy" still manages to be extremely creative and unique.
The production even manages to incorporate performance art. Everyone
- from the actors to the audience - enjoy themselves hugely throughout
the show. The performance breaks all the rules - nothing and no one
is inviolate from being ridiculed. Be show to go with a good sense
of humor and an open mind!
