"Jinkies! The Totally Unauthorized, Partially Improvised, Scooby Doo
Mysteries"
The Fun and Games Stage Company
At Context

If there was ever such a thing as a live cartoon, this is it.
The Fun and Games Stage Company is so frighteningly realistic as the
Scooby Doo gang, you almost want to reach for the remote and turn
up the volume. From Fred's lazy saunter to Shaggy's bottomless stomach,
they've got every maneuver down pat. Add some '90's humor (lesbian
Velma and a show-stealing indecent exclamation by Fred), a missing
celebrity, and audience participated improv, and the laughs just roll
on in.
Attempts to weave audience suggestions into the action admittedly
rank low on the laugh-o-meter. The scripted jokes are most successful,
especially when they poke fun at their characters. By taking the exact
physicality of the Scooby Doo gang and inserting the kind of banter
never heard on a cartoon, The Fun and Games Stage Company has created
the kind of humor that makes you throw up your hands, sit back, and
laugh.
